Welcome to the English Magazine

The English Magazine, is a free English magazine full of regularly updated content.  From articles on travel, sport, language and culture to jokes, cartoons, tests and games. 

All the articles have a dictionary look-up, just double-click on any word and you'll see a definition (pop-ups must be enabled for this feature).   You can also listen to many of the poems, tongue twisters and jokes.

As of August 2008 anyone can rate the magazine and the content, this will help us to figure out which content is most popular.  To prevent spam only members can leave comments.

The magazine and all its content belongs to LEON (The Learn English Online Network), a free resource for ESL / EFL learner's and teacher's. The network includes the free to use websites Learn English | Learn English Online | Have Fun with English  | The English Forum.

Use in the classroom - Please feel free to print off and or download any of the material.  There is a print option on each page and all content can be downloaded as a pdf document for people with sight problems.   We only request that no material is republished in any form.

dear english magazine,
I'm a new member here. this magazine is so so great! My english is not good enough coz I'm still learning. it really helps me to broaden my vocabulary. I think more articles on nature will be greater.
