Adverts are great for learning English in a visual and for TV ads, auditory way. Firstly they're short, so even if you have the attention span of a goldfish, you'll manage to concentrate all the way through. They're designed to be memorable and they're often very funny. I can remember jingles and phrases from my childhood. If only I could say the same about calculus or algebra!
So, here's a selection of adverts. I've transcribed the text, so that you can check your comprehension, but try to watch the ad first and then read the transcript.
